Mrs. Virginia Ann Stolarz's Obituary
Virginia Ann (Harden) Stolarz, became a citizen of the holy ones of the household of God on November 8th, 2018. She was born April 21, 1936 to George and Julia Harden in Dearborn, Michigan and was raised in and around Grand Haven, Michigan. Virginia met the love of her life, Chester, during a motorcycle ride at Grand Haven State Park. They married in 1956 and on their life journey had five children, nine grandchildren, and one great granddaughter. She was a stay at home mom her entire life and enjoyed cooking, camping, talking on the phone and most of all visiting with family and friends. Virginia has touched many lives and will be greatly missed by everyone. Virginia is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Chester; sons, Richard (Theresa) Stolarz of Kingwood, TX and David Stolarz of Grand Haven; daughters, Nancy (Kris) Swanson of Wahiawa, HI, Mary (Randy) Wiersma of Grand Haven and Michelle (Scott) MacKeller of Kathleen, GA; grandchildren, Jacob (Samantha), Aaron, Emily, and David Stolarz, Sarah Swanson, Brandon and Mitchell Wiersma, Zachary and Nicole MacKeller; great-granddaughter Heidi Stolarz; siblings, Larry (Therese) Harden, Arlene (William) Wierenga, Brenda (Albert) Berkompas, David (Kathy) Harden and Rosemary (Terry) Shrum; brother and sisters in-law Josephine Van Hall, Stanley (Laura) Stolarz and Jane (Dennis) Kieft; many nieces and nephews; and special friend Marlene Moll. Visitation will be held from 5-7PM Tuesday, November 13, with a rosary to be recited at 6:30PM at The VanZantwick Chapel, 620 Washington Ave, Grand Haven, Michigan 49417, 616-842-6100. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s-St. Anthony’s Catholic Church (920 Fulton St. Grand Haven, Michigan) on Wednesday, November 14, at 11AM with a visitation at 10AM with Father Charles Schwartz presiding.
