Virginia C. Stowe's Obituary
Mrs. Virginia Stowe, age 83, passed away at her home Saturday, May 3, 2008. She was born on November 28, 1924 to George and Matilda (Timm) Schreier in Chicago IL. She had worked in the quality control department for Muskegon Piston Ring prior to her retirement in 1987. Mrs. Stowe has always loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. After retirement she enjoyed traveling around the country and wintering in Florida with their motor home. She also enjoyed dancing and gardening. SURVIVORS include 2 children, David McClees of North Muskegon and Susan McClees of Ann Arbor; 2 grandchildren Lisa McClees of Ann Arbor and Ryan McClees of Grand Rapids; 1 nephew, Bruce Tamulis and 2 nieces, Barbara Tamulis and Mari Ann Schafer. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands Joseph McClees and Virgil Stowe and 1 sister, Regina Tamulis. GRAVESIDE SERVICE will be 12:30 PM, Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION with the family will be 2-4 and 6-8 PM Tuesday at The Sytsema Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Ave. 231-726-5210 MEMORIALS to American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
