Mrs. Viva J. Braden's Obituary
Mrs. Viva J. Braden, 83, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2014 in Muskegon. She was born June 16, 1931 in Whitehall to Earl and Pearl (Fordham) Westphal, and was a lifelong resident of the Muskegon area. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. SURVIVORS include 5 children, Gary (Judy) Braden of Fruitport, Duane (Verna) Braden of Muskegon, Diane (Bob) McAlinden of Nunica, Darlene (Ray) Sanford of Twin Lake, Debby (Fabian) DelHoyo of Muskegon; several grand, great-grand, and great-great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Arnold (Mildred) Westphal, Paul (June) Westphal; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Braden was preceded in death by 3 sons, Steven, Richard, and Terry; 3 grandsons, Scott, John, and Derreck; and 1 granddaughter, Holly. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at Egelston Township Cemetery.
