Vivian Darlene "Vicki" Korstange's Obituary
Mrs. Vivian Darlene “Vicki” Korstange, age 64, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, December 4, 2025 following a six-month battle with cancer. She was born in Independence, Missouri on March 8, 1961. She married the love of her life, Richard Korstange, on September 19, 1998. Vicki graduated from Baker College’s School of Culinary Arts and built a meaningful career in food service and caregiving. She worked as the Banquet Chef for the Muskegon Holiday Inn and served as Kitchen Supervisor at the Muskegon County Jail, Mercy General Hospital and McAuley Place. Most recently, she worked in Administration for Comfort Keepers, where she was valued for her reliability and dedication. Vicki’s faith was an important part of her life. She enjoyed worship and expressed her devotion through Liturgical Dance. Outside of work, she loved crafting, cooking, and writing poetry. She will be remembered for her steady presence, her commitment to the people she served, and the many talents she brought into the world. Vicki is survived by her husband of 27 years, Richard; sons, Brandon Uganski, Daniel Uganski, Richard L. Korstange, and Todd Korstange; four grandchildren; and her spiritual mother and father, Annabelle and Ron Tinsey. VISITATION will be held from 6-8 PM Thursday, December 11, 2025 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444.
