Vivian L. Medley's Obituary
Vivian L. Medley, 64, passed away Sunday, November 12, 2023, in Muskegon. She was born December 26, 1958, in Muskegon to Lewis and Lila (Goodrich) VerHulst and was a lifelong resident. Vivian was employed as a Pharmacy Technician for Kmart and then Hackley Pharmacy. Vivian enjoyed crocheting, traveling, and photography, especially involving family. On October 5, 1991, she married Marcus J. “Marc” Medley and he preceded her in death on November 20, 1994. Survivors one stepson: Josh Medley; five siblings: Gordon (Jill) VerHulst, Thomas (Sally) VerHulst, Carol (Len) Stark, William VerHulst, Larry (Christine) VerHulst; eleven nieces and nephews: Adam (Teddy) VerHulst, Barbara (Tom) Bitson, Matthew (Roni) VerHulst, Derrick VerHulst, Claire (Adam Sierakowski) VerHulst, Michael VerHulst, Laura VerHulst, Kyle (Lauren) VerHulst, Jena Wines, Renee (Jordan) Bradley, Charlie Wines; and her close friend Arthur Hanson. Vivian was also preceded in death by her sister Barbara. A service to remember and celebrate Vivian’s life will be held Saturday, November 18, at 12:00 noon at Laketon Bethel Reformed Church, 1568 W. Giles Rd., N. Muskegon, 49445. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service with a luncheon to follow the service. Burial will take place at a future date at Lakeside Cemetery. Contributions in memory of Vivian may be directed to the Muskegon Rescue Mission or Kids’ Food Basket.
