Mrs. Vivian Gladys Wahr's Obituary
Mrs. Vivian Gladys Wahr, age 90, went to be with her Lord on Friday, November 2, 2012. She was born in Muskegon on September 27, 1922 to Walter and Gladys (Heiss) Lang and was a life-long resident of the area. Mrs. Wahr was a life-long member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was a devoted wife and mother, enjoyed going to garage sales, and shopping. On January 27, 1940, Vivian married Edward A. Wahr in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on September 13, 1987. She is survived by 5 children, Gerald E. (Mary) Wahr, James W. (Bonnie) Wahr, Ronald V. (Kathy) Wahr, Patricia A. Hinton, and Leonard I. (Janet) Wahr; 15 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 1 sister, Lillian Theodore. In addition to her husband, Vivian was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra M. Boutell. THE MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be held 11:00 AM Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Antony Britto presiding. VISITATION will be from 5-8 PM Wednesday at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100 and 1 hour prior to the service. INTERMENT will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. MEMORIALS to Sacred Heart Catholic Church would be appreciated.
