Vivian I. (Anderson) Day's Obituary
Mrs. Vivian I. (Anderson) Day, age 89, passed away Sunday evening, June 28, 2009 at a local hospital. She was born March 7, 1920 in Muskegon to Clifford and Bessie May Anderson. She married Robert L. Day in Muskegon on September 18, 1942 and he preceded her in death on February 7, 1989. Mrs. Day was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church. SURVIVORS include 1 son, Lyle (Laverna) Day of Whitehall; 1 daughter, Muriel (Richard) Nash of Muskegon; 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Shirley Brown of Tampa, FL, Norma Jean Pickard of North Muskegon, Carmen (George) Rillema of Muskegon; 1 brother-in-law, Herbert Cooper of Muskegon; 1 sister-in-law, Evelyn Day of Arizona. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, Gertrude Cooper, Millie Allen, and 1 brother, Harold Anderson. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church (1206 Whitehall Rd.) with Pastor Bill Uetricht officiating. There will be no visitation.
