Vivian Madge Line's Obituary
Mrs. Vivian “Madge” Line, age 94, passed away early Thursday morning, March 26, 2009 in Muskegon. She was born August 20, 1914 to O. T. and Bessie Smith in Central Lake, MI, and moved to the Muskegon area from Detroit in 1939. Madge was a member of First Congregational Church where she served as the Sunday School Superintendent, and volunteered for the former Department of Social Services. She was also an accomplished seamstress. On August 6, 1936 she married Harold B. Line in Toledo, OH. He preceded her in death on February 5, 1989. SURVIVORS include 3 children, John (Bonnie) Line of Fruitport, Gilbert (Pat) Line of Hesperia, Alice (Bob) Wathen of Muskegon; 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson; 2 brothers, Irey (Margaret) Smith of CA, Grant (Ginger) Smith of FL; 1 sister, Geneva VanBergen of TN; many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by 6 brothers and sisters. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 31, at
