I remember him as I very nice and friendly man ! God Bless !
To the Voris’ family, you have my sincere sympathies. I can only imagine how much you will miss him.
As you reflect on the great memories you must have, know that he had a profound impact on many IBMers who he mentored and managed. I was one of them. Voris was one of my first managers as an IBM trainee. That may seem like a minor inconsequential relationship, but to his credit and style, he used that relationship to help transform a rookie-no-nothing kid into an IBM professional. I can not begin to articulate the profound impact your father / brother had on me. He was understanding, intuitive, proactive, and engaged. If he saw something that was not right … or could be better … he had a style and personal commitment to address the issue.
Voris was the manifestation of what it meant to be a professional … and an IBMer, a culture that shaped so many great people … people who were made great by Voris … people who are commenting on what impact Voris had on their career and life.
As much as we miss him and remember him, it can not compare to your feelings and void that he leaves. Be comforted in knowing that he touched many lives … will be remembered by all … and missed.
Voris … rest in peace and enjoy the love you left behind.

Voris represented all of the great aspects of the IBM family. He was a role model like no other in terms of his mentoring to the newer IBMers and dedication to the company and his customers. A great man that helped make a lot of other people better. He will be greatly missed. I will keep him and his family in my thoughts and prayers!
The world has lost a remarkable man. Whether you met Voris once or had daily interactions with him, you were better for the experience. My prayers go out for his family.
Although I haven't seen Voris for 30 years, I'll never forget him. He was my first manager at IBM, taught me so much and was so generous with his time and his talents. Rest in peace Voris.
Voris was my second line manager when I joined Detroit West Automotive as an SE trainee. He had a large presence in the office and was someone I respected a great deal. He was always there when I needed help and had a great way of making you laugh when you most needed to. I have thought Of Voris often over the years. My memories are always happy ones. My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this difficult time.
Voris had the most incredible talent of making each one of us feel important and special. I was so lucky to have him as my second line manager when I first started with IBM. He shared his knowledge of product , company and life with me. I owe so much to him and only hope that I can live up to what he taught me.
Sincerely
