Wallace Floryan Walicki's Obituary
Mr. Wallace Floryan Walicki, age 92, passed away peacefully Friday, November 30, 2018 in Muskegon. He was born in Muskegon on October 20, 1926 to Felix and Catherine (Bandoch) Walicki. Wallace was a veteran of the United States Navy and served in WWII. He was employed by MichCon for 30 years prior to his retirement in 1986. Wallace, along with his wife Dorothy, enjoyed spending winters in Bonita Springs, Florida. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and picking mushrooms. On November 12, 1949, Wallace married the former Dorothy Jean Maxin in Muskegon and she survives him along with three children, Kathy (John) Jolman, Ronald Walicki, and James (Brenda) Walicki; six grandchildren, Matthew Jolman, Melissa Jolman, Sarah Walicki, Anne Walicki, Robert Walicki, Ashley Walicki; three great-grandchildren, Collin, Paschal, and Pierce. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Reginald Walicki; and sisters, Marcella Fluette and Arillia Pier. According to Mr. Walicki’s wishes, services will be private. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
