Mr. Walter J. “Bud” Meyers, age 89, passed away at his home Saturday, March 2, 2013. He was born March 21, 1923 in Muskegon to Peter and Amonda (Allard) Meyers. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Evelyn M. Meyers. He Read Obituary
We sure loved Uncle Bud. He would spend the winters in Florida by us and we would always talk about the family. Bud and Evelyn would keep us up to date with everything that was doing on. We had so many unforgettable fun times with them. Always laughing and enjoying our time together. We will always cherish the memories of the family holidays at his house on the lake.
I love you Grandpa. You always had a remarkable ability to make me laugh.
We mourn the loss of Uncle Bud. We will cherish memories of summer holidays spent at his lake home. Family gatherings were always a blast, dune buggy rides with Duke in the back seat, horseshoe games, fireworks, music blaring from the garage window, basketball, balloon ascensions, roasting hot dogs and marshmallows by the bonfire.
