Mr. Walter Bruce Peterson's Obituary
Walter Bruce Peterson, age 82, passed away Thursday October 16, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 22, 1932 to Ralph and Florence Peterson. On May 16, 1953 he married the former Jane Zahrt. Walter worked at Muskegon Piston Ring for 33 years before retiring in 1986. He was an avid fisherman, loved the outdoors and his dog, Buddy Black. Survivors include: wife, Jane; six children, Randy (Cindy) Peterson, Wayne Peterson, Diane (Vernon) Robinson, Richard Peterson, Peter (Jennifer) Peterson, Delynne (David) Tjapkes; 14 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and his three sisters, Joan Achenbach, Helen Peterson and Laura Frey-Russ. Visitation will be held Saturday Oct 25, 2014 from 12pm-3pm at THE WALBURN CHAPEL 1547 W. SHERMAN BLVD. 231-759-8565. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Harbor Hospice.
