Walter "Wally" Fiedler's Obituary
Mr. Walter George “Wally” Fiedler, age 59, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2005 at a local hospital. Walt was born July 30, 1945 in Hammond, Indiana to Joseph and Angeline (Koza) Fiedler. Walter spent most of his life in this area, and married the former Deborah Houseman-Wilder on February 26, 1999 in Las Vegas , NV. He worked for 16 years at Story&Clark Piano Factory prior to the 17 years he spent with Meridian/Herman Miller Spring Lake Campus as a machine operator. Wally and his wife belonged to Hi-Nabors and Teledyne Square Dance Clubs, as well as Al-a-round and Coes Couples Round Dance Clubs. He loved square dancing, round dancing, scuba diving, motorcycling, golfing, nature, camping, and traveling. Walter is SURVIVED by his wife, Deborah; 8 children, Edward Fiedler of Kalkaska ,MI., Daniel (Connie) Wilder of Muskegon, Shannon Wilder of Grand Haven, Dennis Wilder Jr. of Fremont, Tina (Tim) Wright of Fruitport, Julie (O.J.) Pierson of Twin Lake, Marianne (Rosco) Wilder of Fremont, and Timothy Wilder also of Fremont; 11 grandchildren, Anthony Burns, Brandon Wilder, Kirsten Tardini, Zeb Praay, Alaric Pierson, Logan Pierson, Anna, Dustin, and Jacob Wright, Megan Cutbirth, and Victoria Wilder; a brother, Joseph (Gayle) Fiedler of Grand Haven; a sister, Mary Fiedler of N. Muskegon; 2 nieces, Christine (Daniel) Huls of Whitehall, Beth Ann Hayes of Cocoa Beach, Florida;2 grand nephews, Jeremy and Ryan Huls; and many other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a stepdaughter Susan Katherine Wilder; and his nephew, Christopher. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held Monday, April 4, 2005, 11AM at the
