Mrs. Wanda E. Denton's Obituary
Mrs. Wanda E. Denton, age 73, passed away peacefully with her girls by her side. She was born on November 17, 1943 to Edwin and Elizabeth (Ade) Johnson in Muskegon. A lifelong resident of the area, Wanda married Frank Denton in 1964 in Muskegon and they spent 33 years together before he preceded her in death in 1998. Wanda enjoyed volunteering, knitting, crocheting, baking, bowling and socializing with friends. She was a member of St. Mark Lutheran, an avid Wal-Mart shopper and was a Blue Bloods fanatic. Wanda will be dearly missed by her children, Kristina Denton, Tonya (Jason) Pinard and Shane Larsen; grandchildren, Kristina (Anthony) Dore and Jennifer Salsbury; 5 great-children with one on the way; 2 brothers; 2 brother-in-laws; 5 sister-in-laws; many “adopted” children and grandchildren; multiple nieces and nephews; many cousins; friends; and her beloved cat Mittens. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; son, Eric “Denny” Larsen; one great-grandson; parents; father-in-law and mother-in-law; one brother; and 3 brother-in-laws. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 29 at 12noon at St. Mark Lutheran (4475 Henry St, Norton Shores). Visitation with the family will be 1 hour prior to the service from 11-12.
