Wanda J. Ruel's Obituary
Mrs. Wanda J. Ruel, 86, passed away Thursday morning, March 8, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born December 21, 1931, in Muskegon to George and Trina (Rose) McMichael and was married to Bernard in 1952. Wanda was a past president of the VFW Post #7729 Ladies Auxiliary and former member of the Muskegon Car Club. Her greatest joys included spending holidays with her extended family, reading mysteries, and caring for her many pets. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Kris; grandchildren, Ron (Tammy) Ruel, Lori (Kenny) Whipple, Tracy (Jenni) Ruel, Troy (Erica) Ruel, Trisha (Mike) Hall, Rick (Keara) Ruel, Dan (Pat) England, Don (Barb) England, Doug (Cindi), Dennis (Lauri) England, and Denise (Scott) Goyings; and 22 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Ronald Ruel; brother, George McMichael; sister, Donna England; and great granddaughter, Christine Nichols. A private family memorial for Wanda will take place at a later date. Interment will take place at Egelston Township Cemetery. You may visit the family’s online guestbook at www.sytsemafh.com.
