Warren J. Klinkner's Obituary
Mr. Warren J. Klinkner, age 84, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2016 in Muskegon. He was born on July 20, 1932 to John and Florence (Young) Klinkner and lived in the Muskegon area most of his life. Warren married Marilyn Plant in 1957. His career at Kaydon Corp. spanned 30 years prior to his retirement in 1987 as Vice President of sales. Warren enjoyed gourmet cooking, golf, his Leland summer home and MSU football but foremost, time spent with his family and friends. SURVIVORS include his loving wife, Marilyn of 59 years; children, Craig (Laura) Klinkner, Pamela (David Schildhouse) Klinkner, Kay (Gregory) Simsa, Kristin (John) Prebay; grandchildren, Taryn (Peter), Matthew, Michael, Megan, Chase, Zachary, Andrea, and Blake. He is also survived by his great-granddaughter, Parker. Warren was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gilbert; and his sister, Shirley. A PRIVATE Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions may be directed to Harbor Hospice Foundation or The Alzheimer’s Association. Warren’s family would like to thank Harbor Hospice and the staff of Seminole Shores Memory Unit for the compassionate, loving care given to Warren during his time there.
