Warren Robinson's Obituary
Warren Robinson, age 89, passed away January 4, 2025. He was born on March 29, 1935 to the late Harry and Lillian (Metzger) Robinson. He was a lifetime resident of Muskegon.
Warren’s career was in banking, starting at National Lumberman’s Bank, which became First Michigan Bank, then Huntington Bank, which Warren helped with the conversion of. Warren then retired in 1999 after forty years in banking.
Warren served in the US Army, stationed in Korea for one year. Upon returning to the US, he completed his service at the Pentagon in Washington, DC.
July 8, 1978, Warren married Constance (Connie) Gardner, who survives him, along with daughter Juliet (Matt) Franklyn; son, John Robinson; granddog Charlie; and grandson, Jacob Warren Franklyn (Brianna).
Warren was a member of First Lutheran Church where he was a member of the choir for 40-plus years, until he was no longer able to attend church.
Letting go of one life to behold a glorious other one, Warren will lovingly be remembered not only by his family, but all who knew him.
Warren's Memorial Service will be 11 AM Friday, January 10, 2025 at First Lutheran Church (1206 Whitehall Rd.) with Pastor Bill Uetricht officiating. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service, from 10-11 AM at church. Memorial Contributions in Warren’s name may be given to First Lutheran Church or Harbor Hospice.
