Wayne Beuschel's Obituary
Wayne Beuschel, age 75, of Spring Lake passed away at Spectrum Health Blodgett Hospital Sunday, April 11, 2021. He was born January 15, 1946, in Grand Rapids, to Wendell W. and Dorothy (Gray) Beuschel, and married Janice Ruth Gatz on June 20, 1970, in Glenview, Illinois.
Wayne graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor’s Degree and served his country in the United States Army. He co-owned Beuschel Sales a materials handling equipment business. Wayne was a member of Lakeshore Fellowship Lutheran Church and lifetime member of the Lions Club in Grand Rapids. He loved H-scale model trains, watching westerns (thus his nickname) “Cowboy”. Wayne also had his private pilot’s license and would fly down to the Chicago Bears games in Chicago.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Janice Beuschel; daughter, Jensine Beuschel; son, William “Will” (Kelly-Michelle) Beuschel; three grandchildren: Kaydence Beuschel, McCaelyn Beuschel and Weston Beuschel; two sisters, Karen Rarity and Nancylynn (Robin) Spriggs; brother, Keith (Kathy) Beuschel; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A private family funeral service for Wayne will be held. Memorials to The Spring Lake District Library are appreciated.
