Wayne Diller's Obituary
Mr. Wayne Diller, age 89, died Monday afternoon, May 7, 2007. He was born August 21, 1917 in Shelby, MI to Christopher and Pearl (Rogers) Diller. Mr. Diller moved to Muskegon in 1946. He then moved to Fremont in 1969, and back to Muskegon in 1979. Mr. Diller was a WWII U.S. Army Veteran and a life-time member of the VFW Post 8846. He worked for Gerber Products for 11 years and also for Muskegon Hardware as an accountant for 30 years. On January 3, 1946 he married the former Joyce Metts in Hart, MI and she survives him along with a son, Alan (Jill) Diller of Muskegon; 2 grandsons, Jeff (Kim) Diller of Grand Rapids, Bryon (Marcy) Diller of Colorado Springs, CO; 4 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Eslyn Brenner of Muskegon; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
