Dick was a great union rep and a really nice guy. He always kept us focused and level headed during negotiations. Every once in a while he would shake up the company with that powerful voice of his. Rest In Peace Dick, you served the Union movement well.
Dear Flowers family, The Kngs have fond memories living next door to the Flowers in Sherman Manor. All of you were so wonderful to all of us, while we were growing up. Our sympathies to all of you at this time. Brad and Rita King, Hart, MI
Dick was a great person and a wonderful friend. He also was tireless and effective representative of workers. It was always great to see him and Suzie. He will truly be missed, may he rest in peace. However, his life will be an inspiration for those who knew him. Bill and Janice Gibbons

Uncle Dick.... I am so glad I came over & had coffee w/ you & Aunt Suzie, over the holidays. You have always been the best hugger I know! I have a lifetime of wonderful memories w/ you & your family. The love I have for you is hard to put into words. It does my heart good to know how much our FLOWERS family loves & respects each other. YOU were a very strong & loving male figure in my life! You are so deeply missed, but I know you are we/ your brothers & my Mom now. We will do our best to comfort your family. Myself & others know the heart ache they feel right now. There is a BIG empty spot in our heart & soul. But there is enough LOVE to get us through the sad times. That love is what you gave us, unconditionally! I LOVE YOU! Kari Edsall
