Wayne F. Moseler's Obituary
Rev. Wayne F. Moseler, age 85, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2022. He was born March 19, 1937 in Muskegon to Frank and Julia (Sullivan) Moseler. Wayne served in the U.S. Navy from 1956-1978. He was a jet pilot and was stationed on several aircraft carriers during his enlistment. After the service, he took up residence in Las Vegas, Nevada where he worked as a contractor for several years. While in Las Vegas, he also became an ordained minister and here in Muskegon was a member of Laketon Bethel Reformed Church. On July 7, 2001, he married Martha Kesteloot in Muskegon and had celebrated almost 21 years of marriage together. SURVIVORS include his wife, Martha; 10 children; 3 step-children: Stacey Kesteloot, Jared Evans, and Angela Roberts; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Tom Moseler of Kansas; and sister, Barbara Laverna of Fremont. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jim Moseler. A MEMORIAL SERVICE for Wayne will be held 2:00 PM Monday, April 18, 2022 at Laketon Bethel Reformed Church. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place in Sunrise Memorial Gardens at 2:50 PM on Tuesday with Military Honors. Memorials to Laketon Bethel Reformed Church will be appreciated.
