Wayne Edward O'Shinski's Obituary
Wayne Edward O’Shinski, age 66, passed away quietly at home surrounded by family, Wednesday morning, May 9, 2018. He was born October 19, 1951 in Muskegon to Donald and Helen (McAnally) O’Shinski. On February 26, 1994, he married Julie Steffens in Muskegon. Wayne worked as a transit operator for MATS (Muskegon Area Transit System) for 33 years prior to his retirement in 2008. SURVIVORS include his wife, Julie; 4 children: Colleen (Billy) Gibson, Edward Wayne (Danielle) O’Shinski, Ashley Nicole (Geoffrey) Denhof, Steven Steffens; 10 grandchildren: Billy, Noah, Hannah, Hailey, Makayla, Sophia, Jackson, Xavier, Sierra, and Katlyn; brother, Donn (Aletta) O’Shinski; and sister, Cheryl (Ken) Wansten. A celebration of Wayne’s life will be held from 4 – 8 PM on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at the Lakeside Eagles.
