Mr Wayne K Waggoner's Obituary
Wayne Kenneth Waggoner, age 72, husband, father, grandfather and soon-to-be great grandfather passed away unexpectedly in his home on Wednesday, December 28, 2016. He was born on March 1, 1944 in Grand Rapids, MI. On February 8, 1964, he married the former Marilyn DeLano in Muskegon, MI. They enjoyed 52 years of marriage and raising their two daughters, Mary and Lori, who he was so proud of. Wayne worked as a machinist at Sealed Power-Hylift of Muskegon until his retirement in 1999. He was a member of the Polish Falcons, Polish Union and the Lakeside Vets. Wayne loved feeding the ducks daily at the channel wall in Muskegon and Sunset Beach, watching his Detroit sports teams, his grandchildren’s events and he also cherished Friday family game nights. He will be deeply missed. Wayne is survived by his wife, Marilyn; two daughters, Mary (Sam) Johnson and Lori Kuzma; grandchildren, Samuel and Drew Johnson and Meghan Gue. He is also survived by his brothers, Stewart Waggoner, Thomas (Sue) Waggoner, Timothy (Susan) Waggoner, George Waggoner. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jean Mueller. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions can be made to Noah Project or Harbor Hospice Foundation.
