Wenda P. Skuse's Obituary
Wenda P. Skuse, age 67, passed away on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Mercy Hospital. She was born on May 10, 1953, to Robert Sr. and Jeanette “Reenie” (Hite) Cooper in Muskegon. Prior to retirement, Wenda had worked as a store manager for Wesco Inc. for over 15 years in the Muskegon area. She loved being a grandma more than anything and “babysat” her grandchildren and great-grandchildren daily. Wenda loved spending time at the beach, picnics, reading, watching movies, tea parties with the kids (both big and small) and traveling around Michigan. She shaped many young family members, community members, and friends into the people they are today and will be missed by many. SURVIVORS include her mother Jeanette “Reenie” DeHaven; her children; Patricia (Jeremy) Chamberlain, Nate (Megan Patterson) Skuse, James (Nicole) Skuse; 8 grandchildren, James Petrie Jr., Charles (Kateri) Petrie, Heather (Tyler) Cooley, Andrew (Ashley Frank) Borrow, Kylee Patterson-Skuse, Payton Patterson-Skuse, Kailyn Skuse, Eric Skuse and 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Sandra (Kim) Erickson, Lorri Anderson and brother, Robert Jr. (Chris) Cooper; Numerous loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Wenda was preceded in death by her father Robert Cooper Sr., sister, Theresa Duell and infant son, Charley Skuse. Following her wishes cremation has taken place.
