Wendell M. Bradfield's Obituary
Mr. Wendell “Windy” Max Bradfield, age 80, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 30, 2021 in Muskegon after a courageous year and a half long battle with cancer. He was born on August 11, 1940 to Donald and Alice (Thorpe) Bradfield in Wyoming, MI. Windy married the former Linda Kay Olson on October 7, 2961 and she preceded him in death on June 19, 2018. He proudly served his country while in the United States Army. After being honorably discharged, Windy worked at Consumers Energy for 38 years as a welder before retiring in 2000. Windy and Linda were longtime active members of Samuel Lutheran Church. He enjoyed woodworking, participating in De Colores and was also a member of the Muskegon Northside Lions Club. Windy loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by his children, Robin (Craig) Archambault and William (Dee) Bradfield; five grandchildren, Matthew (Lindsey) Wiegand, Zechariah Bradfield, Natali Bradfield, Sean (Jennifer) Archambault, Shae Archambault; five great-grandchildren; brother, Larry (Sharon) Bradfield; and many nieces and nephews. Along with his wife, Linda, of 56 years, Windy was also preceded in death by his brothers, John Bradfield, Donald Bradfield and Gary Bradfield; sister, Rosalyn Fisher; and parents. A Graveside Service will be held 12noon, Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Laketon Twp. Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Windy’s memory may be made to Muskegon Northside Lions Club.
