Wendy Durkee's Obituary
Wendy Durkee, age 69, of Grand Haven passed away Saturday, August 3, 2019 at home. She was born March 23, 1950 in Grand Haven to Harold and Flomania (Cavanaugh) Durkee.
Wendy enjoyed watching hockey, especially the Red Wings, was a collector of Eagles, and enjoyed her dogs and cats.
She is survived by three sons: Phillip Hudson of Rockport, Kentucky, Scott (Rebecca) Hudson, of Raleigh, North Carolina, and Brian Hudson, of Grand Haven; eight grandchildren: Zena, Austin, Jesse, Haley, Emerson, Gavin, Matthew, and Joshua; two great-grandchildren, Rayleigh, and Lyla. She is also survived by three brothers: Richard, Hal, and Kevin; and her cat, Lacy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Flomania, and brothers, Charles and Dwight.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, August 8, 2019 at Watermark Church. Memorial contributions in memory of Wendy may be given to The National Kidney Foundation. Please sign the family’s online guestbook at www.sytsemafh.com.
