Mrs. Wendy Ann Robertson, age 66, born July 28, 1946, in Muskegon to loving parents, Preston & Ann (Eder) Keefer, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, January 20, 2013. Wendy is survived by her husband, Theodore “Ted” Robertson, Jr. of Muskegon; her daughter, Beth Robertson of Muskegon; her son, Kevin (Rebecca) Robertson & their two sons, Bryce & Rafe Robertson of Portage, MI; her brother, Dennis (Diane) Keefer of Faribault, MN; sisters-in-law, Judy Prins of Norton Shores & Alice (Robert) Foster of Spring Lake; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts & life-long friends. Wendy is predeceased by her parents, in-laws, Theodore & Lois (Kampenga) Robertson, Sr., her grandparents, William & Mary (DeWitt) Keefer & Charles & Anna (Hotwagner) Eder. Wendy married Ted on April 26, 1969 in Muskegon Heights. Excluding nursing school (Holy Cross School of Nursing in South Bend, IN), Wendy was a life-long resident of Muskegon County. Wendy retired in 2008, after her 45 years of service as a Registered Nurse (a most fitting profession choice for such a selfless, caring person), most recently at Mercy Hospital of Muskegon. Wendy loved her annual vacations to Florida, spending time at the family cottage in Walhalla, MI, her frequent dinners with her close friends “the girls” & spending time with her family who she loved above all else. THE MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated on Thursday, January 24, at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Muskegon Hts., with Rev. Fr. Norman Droski presiding. VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Norton Cemetery. Donations in Wendy’s memory may be made to her daughter’s group home: Covenant Enabling Residences of Michigan, 862 Forest Park Road, Muskegon.
