Wesley G. "Hutch" Hutchins' Obituary
Wesley G. “Hutch” Hutchins, age 92, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2025. He was born August 22, 1933, in Muskegon to Earl and Signa (Johnson) Hutchins. Hutch graduated from North Muskegon High School and worked for Sealed Power Corporation for over 25 years prior to his retirement. On April 25, 1983, he married Marlene J. “Molly” Brant in Muskegon, and she survives him. In his earlier years, he enjoyed woodworking and took great pride in caring for his yard. He also loved attending his great-grandchildren’s sporting events, which kept him happily busy. He will be missed by many. SURVIVORS include his wife, Marlene “Molly”; two daughters, Diane (Michael) Sluis and Nancy (Michael) Scott; stepson, Mark (Julie) Epplett; five grandchildren, Jilliane (Allen) Davis, Megan Bennett, Jesse (Tori) Scott, Jimi Lynn (Tom) Arnst, and Jeff (Amber) Epplett; seven great-grandchildren, Emily (Dalton) Wehler, Abby Davis, Leah and Robby Bennett, Wesley Scott, Loren and Rylee Epplett; two sisters, Sara Archer and Beverly Larkin; many nieces and nephews; and his faithful four-legged companion, Annie. He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandson, Michael Lundholm; his grandson-in-law, Robert “Robb” Bennett; and eight brothers, Warren, Don, Willard, Roger, Harold, Ben, Kenneth, and Roy Hutchins. According to his wishes, there will be no services. MEMORIALS to the Dr. Michael Lundholm, M.D. Scholarship will be appreciated.
