Wilfred "Bill" Clement's Obituary
Mr. Wilfred “Bill” Clement, age 84, died Sunday afternoon, October 27, 2013 in Muskegon. He was born April 3, 1929 in Westbrook, ME and has resided in the area since 1955. Bill was a veteran of the U.S. Army, the U.S. National Guard and of the U.S. Army Reserve; having served during the Vietnam War. He retired from Weyburn & Bartel; and had previously worked for Scott Paper - S.D. Warren. He was married to the former Elaine Sawyer and she preceded him in death along with his parents, his daughter-in-law, Peg Clement and 16 siblings. SURVIVORS include his son, David Clement, 2 grandchildren, James Clement and Nicole (John) Currier, who is currently serving with the U.S. Army, Ft. Hood, TX; and by his companion of fifteen years, Joyce Suchy and her children, Charlene, Ed and Dean and their families. Bill enjoyed shooting pool, watching the Red Wings and traveling to Florida. GRAVESIDE SERVICES under the auspices of the Muskegon County VFW will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday at Laketon Twp. Cemetery, followed by a Celebration of bill’s life at Don Rea VFW Post #8846, 1066 Witham at Dykstra, North Muskegon. Arrangements by The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 6291 S.
