Willam F. "Bill" Groendal, Sr.'s Obituary
Mr. William F. “Bill” Groendal, Sr., age 79, died Friday afternoon, June 25, 2004. He was born November 15, 1924 in Muskegon to Mienart and Elsie (Decker) Groendal. Mr. Groendal attended Cedar Creek School. He was employed by Amstore Inc., and retired in January of 1988. Mr. Groendal enjoyed traveling and outdoor activities. On July 2, 1983, he married the former Gladys Carlson, and she survives him along with his son, William Groendal, Jr.; 2 daughters, Susan Carroll, Vanessa Groendal; sisters, Evelyn Garry, Bernice (Mel) Johnston; step-children, Eileen (Lyle) Stanton, Harold (Dianne) Sumerix, Roberta (Terry) Miller, Patricia Gosh, LaDonna Sheffer, Kimberly (Dave) Mahnke, June Vishino; and many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Alice; brother, Henry; and step-son, Kevin Vance. There will be no visitation. Private family services will be held later. Arrangements by
