Willard V. Maginity's Obituary
Willard Virgil Maginity’s journey through life began April 23, 1940 in Benzonia, MI. When he arrived in the loving arms of his parents, John and Ruth (Long) Maginity, his three sisters, Kathryn, Virginia, Mary and a little sister Chris, arriving after they moved to Muskegon, where he spent most of his life. He passed away peacefully at home on august 3, 2018. ON November 5, 1960, he married the love of his life, Rose Marie Stolberg, and shared 58 wonderful years together. That union brought five sons, William (Tamara), Jeff (Cathy), Darrin (Anita), Terry and Kevin Maginity, 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. All of whom he loved dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents; parents-in-law, Gilbert and Jessie Wagoner, daughter-in-law, Sheila Maginity; and his grand dogs, Pooh Bear and Molly. After getting his education, he worked for Windatt Pontiac as a mechanic and Clark Floor machine in Muskegon, where he retired from as a machine operator. He was an avid deer hunter, fisherman, gardener and loved feeding the birds, squirrels and all things Mother Nature provides; along with a special love for his pet dogs, Bear and Chevy and all the animals he raised in his past. He leaves behind sisters, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law; many loving family members and friends. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a celebration of his life at 13353 Fitzgerald Ave. Grant, MI 49327 on August 18, 2018 from 2 – 6 pm.
