Mr. Willard "Bill" Sampson's Obituary
Mr. Bill Sampson, age 55, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at his home. Bill was born March 29, 1960 to Willard H. and Phyllis (King) Sampson in Muskegon. He was employed as a meat-cutter at Meijer for 13 years and previously worked 20 years as a roofer for Muskegon Roofing. He was an avid Detroit Red Wings, Tigers and NASCAR fan. Bill loved to fish and enjoyed boating. He is SURVIVED by his sister, Mary (Mel) Murray; brother, Bob Sampson; and nieces, Nicole and Elizabeth Sampson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue and his parents, Willard H. “Sam” Sampson Jr. and Phyllis Sampson-Rayel. A PRIVATE GRAVESIDE SERVICE will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to the family.
