Mr. William J. "Bill" Alexander's Obituary
Mr. William J. “Bill” Alexander, age 67, passed away Tuesday afternoon, September 4, 2012. He was born March 5, 1945 in Fremont, MI to Carl and Margaret (Sanderson) Alexander. Bill was a U.S. Air Force Veteran serving from 1965 to 1969. He worked for Econoline Abrasives for 14 years, and prior to that, worked 20 years as the Manager for many Muskegon area McDonald’s. On June 22, 1974 he married the former Dale Butz in Muskegon and she survives him along with his daughter, Christine (Juan Miguel Hernandez) Ribot of Madrid, Spain; mother, Margaret Alexander of Norton Shores; 2 brothers, Joe (Pam) Alexander of Norton Shores, Scott (Kathy) Alexander of Grand Haven; sister, Kathleen (Gerald) Griesbach of Norton Shores; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Alexander on January 3, 2003. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, September 22, 2012 at the First Presbyterian Church with Pastor Jim Rausch officiating. Burial will take place in the church Memorial Garden. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation (NPCF, P.O. Box 1848, Longmont, CO 80502).
