Bill was born and raised in Pontiac, Michigan. While attending Central Michigan University, Bill met his wife of 59 years, Kay Bedford. Family was the most important thing to Bill! He always wanted them to visit and once they were there…he never wanted you to leave. Bill loved having everyone around all the time, especially to play cards and board games. He was always trying to get you to play one more game. Dad was passionate about sports, from coaching at OV, and coaching his own kids’ teams. He enjoyed watching his kids and grandkids play sports as well. Wherever Bill was, you could find him watching his favorite teams on TV. Bill worked as a math teacher for 30 years as well as a driver ed instructor and coaching various sports at Orchard View Middle School and was recently inducted into their Memorable Mentor Wall of Honor.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife Kay, his parents, Homer Bedford and Lucille Wilson, his sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Dave Jones, and his niece, Carrie Galsterer.
