My parents, Paul and Alice Walter, thought so much of the Boelkins family and enjoyed shopping at the store, buying the delicious and top quality meats!
Good memories from a time gone!
Sympathy and blessings to the family

Our condolence to the Boelkins family. I remember Mr. Boelkins as a young child. My family lived in the 2300 block on Maffett Street. I knew him to be a very kind man and he showed us that he cared about each one of us. He would always asked about my brother John when I saw him working at Sam's club. I enjoyed seeing him there. It brought back the memories of my childhood going down to Boelkins store for my mother or just to buy candy. He differently kept busy....I saw him at the lobbyside working at the Hackley hospital café. He'll be missed but never forgotten🙏🏽
