William "Bill" E. LeBaron's Obituary
William E. “Bill” LeBaron, age 90, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at the Harbor Hospice Poppen Residence. He was born to William and Helen (Cole) LeBaron and he lived in the Muskegon area most of his life. Bill proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked for 40 years and 9 months as a Top Quality Millwright for SD Warren before retiring in 1994. Bill treasured spending time with his family, had a passion for travel, especially to Daytona Beach, and loved cheering on his grandchildren and great grandchildren in sports whenever he could. Bill’s warm hugs and prayers will be missed, as well as his welcoming presence as a greeter at Evanston Ave. Baptist Church and Calvary Church over the years. He was a current member of Trinity Baptist Church for the last 15 years. On September 23, 2009, he married the former Delores “Dee” (Arent) Archambault, and she survives him along with son-in-law, Gary Williams; granddaughters, Kristin Williams and Tiffany (Mark) Smith and their children, Gavyn and Wyatt Smith; step-children, Randy (Cathy) Archambault, Cindy Bowen, Gary (Peggy) Archambault and many other grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a great great granddaughter. Bill was preceded in death by his first wife of 45 years, the former Elva Johnson; children, Thomas LeBaron, James LeBaron, Debra LeBaron, Perry LeBaron and Pam Grossman; grandson, Christopher LeBaron; sisters, Hazel DeVanney, Rosanna Huntley, and Joyce Ekkel; and brothers, Arthur LeBaron and Frank LeBaron. FUNERAL SERVICES will be 11 AM Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at Trinity Baptist Church (4381 S. Sheridan Dr.) with Pastor Scott Church officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 5-7 PM Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St. Norton Shores, MI 49444 (231) 798-1100, and one hour prior to the service at church, from 10-11AM Wednesday. Memorial Contributions in Bill’s name to Trinity Baptist Church or Harbor Hospice Foundation will be appreciated. Burial will take place in Oakwood Cemetery in Holton, MI.
