William "Bill" H. Munroe's Obituary
William (Bill) Munroe 67, of Twin Lake, passed away peacefully June 21, 2019 surrounded by his family and friends. Bill grew up in Muskegon and graduated from Orchard View High School. He was a hardworking, fun loving, family oriented man. He owned and operated Gonyo’s Radiator Repair Service, “The Best Place In Town To Take A Leak” for over 40 years and was also an active member for almost 30 years at the Muskegon Mona Shores Optimist Club serving several positions, most recently as Treasurer. When Bill wasn’t working, he was having fun! He and his wife Mae often hosted parties and events at their home. He enjoyed his MG and golf cart rides, hot tub, casino trips, canoeing, Mona Shores Optimist events, road trips, parties in the pole barn and basement, and his Crown Royal. But most of all, Bill did all this with Mae, the love of his life, his family and his friends. Bill truly impacted so many lives and will be missed by all.
A celebration of Bill’s life will be held June 29, 2019 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at Bill and Mae’s house. A private service will be held at a later date. Share memories with the family online at www.sytsemafh.com. Arrangements by Sytsema Cremation Services, 773 Apple Ave, Muskegon, MI 49442.
