We were so very sorry to read about your loss in the paper. We enjoyed living next door to you on Rood Road and were sorry when you moved. Billy was a very special young man. I remember when Billy was in my 7th grade class. He was a delight. He loved to laugh and making others laugh. I know he cared about his dog and always wanted to watch the movie Air Bud. My life was enhanced by knowing Billy. As often happens, the student taught the teacher more than she taught him. I have a Santa figurine that says Believe he gave me. I cherish it and think of Billy every year I put it out. My sympathy to Billy's family. I wish you peace.

I am so sorry to hear about Billy. I worked at Reeths Puffer and my student had ceramics class with him. I know life wasn't easy for him, but we always laughed together and he was an incredible young man. I still have the charm he made for me in class. He will be missed. Rest peaceful and be free Billy.
My son, Eric Wilde was friends with Billy in school, since the 4th grade. For his "show & tell once, I brought in our turtles and Topaz was small enough to go on the platform of Billy's special viewing machine. He was so enthralled and always asked Eric about her. Oddly enough, after having her for 25 years, she passed away last year. If turtles go to heaven, I imagine Billy can see her for real now. Sorry for your loss. Please pass on our condolences to Gerry- a member of our blacksmith group for many years. I will make sure Eric knows.
