Mr. William Jack Brewer's Obituary
Mr. William Jack Brewer, age 75, passed away early Monday morning, August 20, 2012. Bill was born December 8, 1936 in Muskegon to Van and Viola Mae (Westergreen) Brewer and had been a lifelong resident of this area. On September 20, 1958, he married the former Patricia L. Miller and she preceded him in death on April 6, 2008. Bill spent 34 years with G.T.E., working in the maintenance department and as an instructor at the training center, retiring in 1991. Bill enjoyed working on the computer; especially researching genealogy information. He volunteered many years at the Lakeshore Museum and was a member of Muskegon Genealogical Society and the Muskegon County Historical Society. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. Bill is survived by his 3 daughters, Deborah (Robert) Loomis of Twin Lake, Denise (Stephan) Nalepka of Oakwood Hills, IL and Deanna (James) Compton of Laketon Twp.; 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren (and 2 on the way); and several nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Robert and Walter Brewer. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11AM Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at The Lee Chapel 6291 S. Harvey Street (231) 798-1100
with Pastor Jeffery Dunn officiating. VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service (10-11AM). MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Burial will take place in Laketon Township Cemetery.
