William L. Charles IV's Obituary
William Lyman Charles IV passed away at Mercy Hospital from complications of diabetes and pneumonia on March 19, 2017. He was born on March 27, 1971 and was the son of William and Lynda (Williams) Charles of Norton Shores. William “Bill” graduated from Mona Shores High School in 1989, attended Grand Rapids Community College and worked for Steelcase in Grand Rapids. In Muskegon, Bill was co-owner of Charles Heating and Cooling, Inc. and a senior partner with Tamby Property Investments. SURVIVORS include his parents, his sister Lyndi Charles, his daughter Veronica Charles, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many, many, friends. Bill was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lyman and Irene Charles, Clifford and Mary Williams, and brother, Robert Clifford Charles. Bill was a kind, caring, and charitable soul. In addition to family, Bill loved his loyal cat Bandit, his trusty Harley Davidson, and watching Jimmy Johnson and NASCAR. Bill liked to cook and was a master at the outdoor grill. He will be sadly missed by all of those he touched in his lifetime. A private funeral mass was held at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church for the immediate family.
