William Thomas "Bill" Crow's Obituary
William Thomas “Bill” Crow, age 86, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Thursday, November 7, 2024. He was born November 11, 1937, in Grand Haven, MI to Edwin and Katherine (Ruiter) Crow. He attended Grand Haven High School and was a bus driver for Muskegon-Oceana CAB for many years. Bill loved fishing and had his favorite spots to drop the line in the water. He was an avid Detroit Red Wings fan, no matter what their record was. Above all, he loved spending time with his great grandchildren.
Bill is survived by his children, William (Katie) Hughes, Marie (Carl) Noom and Mary Watts; 10 grandchildren and great grandchildren, Theodore and Minzy; and sister, Lori Woodruff. Along with his wife, Joyce, he was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Katy Cole and Betty Crow; and brothers, Elmer Crow, Edwin Crow, Richard Crow and Harold Clover.
A FUNERAL SERVICE will be 11 AM Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at The VanZantwick Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services (620 Washington Ave., Grand Haven, MI 49417). VISITATION with the family will take place from 5-7 PM Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at the funeral home. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be directed to the American Cancer Society or Parkinson’s Association of West Michigan.
