William J. Diedrich, age 80, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 14, 2026, in Muskegon, MI. He was born to John and Stella (Wapienik) Diedrich on July 20, 1945, in Grand Haven, MI. William married the love of his life, Gloria J. Barrigar, on September 2, 1983, in Grand Haven, MI. He served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War, enlisting in March 1963 and serving until January 1969, aboard the USS John A. Bole. He was known for his woodworking, specializing in making grandfather clocks and other furniture pieces for over 20 years, and for his hobby of creating jigsaw puzzles and wooden cars for children. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and, most of all, spending time with his family outdoors. William is survived in death by his spouse: Gloria Diedrich; children: Ryan (Lynn) Diedrich, Scott (Grace) Diedrich; grandchildren: Emma Dooley, Logan Dooley-Diedrich; sister: Dorothy Merimore. He is preceded in death by his parents: John and Stella Diedrich; sister: Alive Diedrich; brothers: Frank Diedrich, Donny Diedrich. Currently, the family does not plan to hold services.
