Mr. William H. Erickson's Obituary
Mr. William H. Erickson, age 92, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at his home. He was born August 12, 1921 to William A. and Clara M. (Cassidy) Erickson in Muskegon, and lived most of his life here. He worked as the chief engineer for Textron for 38 years, retiring in 1983, and was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. On December 5, 1942 Mr. Erickson married Phyllis I. Oberlin, and she preceded him in death on September 8, 2008. SURVIVORS include 2 sons, Thomas E. (Bette) Erickson of Spring Lake, William R. (Julie) Erickson of N. Muskegon; 2 grandchildren, Jolie A. Erickson of Evanston, IL, Sarah (Diego) Luna of Norton Shores; 6 great-grandchildren, Diego, Jr., Olivia, Julia, and Rose Luna, Jamie and Jana Shepard. He was also preceded in death by 1 son, Larry Erickson; 1 brother and sister-in-law, Maynard “Bud” and Violet “Bunny” Erickson. Private family services will be held.
