I was in welding class with Bill for two years and then we worked together as welders at Technology Inc. in Grand Haven. We were around 18 then. He was a good man.

On behalf of the Chongqing Sanyou team, we would like to offer our deepest sympathy to the Fors family! Although we do not know Bill as well as his long time colleagues at BPG, we had the good fortune to meet Bill two years ago while we were at Fruitport for training. Bill was a real professional when it comes to Aluminun Melt System Management. We learned a lot from Bill, not only from a technical perspective, but also on how to treat people. Due to our sub-par English proficiency, we sometimes had trouble communicating with Bill, be he was always very patient, and took the time to repeat the instructions to us until we understood. We will sorely miss Bill, a real gentleman and a great teacher. RIP!
