William C. "Bill" Furst's Obituary
William C. Furst, age 94, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2018. He was born May 21, 1924 in Proctor, MN to Michael and Gertrude (Gonsur) Furst and lived in the Muskegon area most of his life. William was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in WWII. He retired from Sealed Power Corp. as a tool and die maker. William enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of VFW #3195 Lieutenant Wilbur Leroy Boyer Post. SURVIVORS include his wife of 69 years, Dolores R. Furst; 3 children, Lance Furst, Paula (Roger) Dobberstein, Laurie Furst; 1 granddaughter, Jacey (Brad) Radel; 1 grandson, Logan (Mikki) Dobberstein; 3 great-grandchildren, Caiden, Landen, and Keenan; 1 brother-in-law, 1 sister-in-law and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother, Edward G. (Joanne) Furst. A Private Service will be held at a later date. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be directed to Kindred Hospice.
