William Thomas "Bill" Hart's Obituary
William Thomas “Bill” Hart, age 83, passed away Thursday, July 24, 2025. He was born July 17, 1942 in Muskegon to Herman and Mary (Bradley) Hart and was a lifelong resident of the area. Bill was a veteran of the US Marine Corp and served during the Vietnam War and the Cuban Missile Crisis. On October 30, 1965, he married Judy C. Kubon in Muskegon. Prior to retirement in 2013, Bill worked in maintenance at SD Warren/Sappi Paper for 40 years. He was a member of First Lutheran Church. Bill volunteered for United Way of the Lakeshore and was very active in Local 1015 United Paper Workers. Survivors include his wife, Judy Hart; his son, Jon (Rachel) Hart; 4 grandchildren, Ashley Hart, Jon (Julie-Lynn) Hart, Kaelyne Hart, Thomas Hart; 1 great-grandson, Colsen Wayne Hart; 1 sister, Mary Jane (Bob) Curtice; 1 brother-in-law, Brian Kubon and 1 sister-in-law, Marilyn Wendling; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Herman and Bradley Hart; and 1 sister, Shirley Hart. A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held 1:00 PM Friday, August 8, 2025 at Fruitland Township Cemetery.
