William L. Hendrie Jr.'s Obituary
William Lee Hendrie Jr. passed away on December 20, 2024, at a hospice care facility surrounded by loved ones at the age of 53. He was born June 26, 1971, in Muskegon, MI to William Hendrie Sr. and Cheryl Hendrie. He graduated from Muskegon High School, Class of 1990. He went on to work in the field of maintenance and landscaping for over 30 years.
His hobbies and pastimes included bike riding, building and collecting die cast vehicles, and trips to Wesco for refreshments and popcorn. He was a car enthusiast at heart, an avid movie buff, and he enjoyed listening to a variety of music, especially hip hop and Tejano singer, Selena. He was known in his community for always having a helpful and willing spirit, especially with handyman and small engine repairs. He was a family-oriented person who enjoyed time with loved ones and was always one to make an exception for conversation for anyone.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Hendrie Sr.
He will be lovingly remembered by his two sons, Noel and Luke; mother, Cheryl; two sisters, Rhonda and Teresa; and many nieces, nephews, friends, and communities of people he has made impacts on.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
