William V. Hewitt's Obituary
William (Billy)Vernon Hewitt, 60, of Grawn, Michigan, died September 17th, 2019. He was born May 31,1959 in Muskegon, MI to parents William H. Hewitt and Marilyn Porter Hewitt. He is survived by his brother, Dennis (Kristi) Porter; his father, William H. Hewitt; and many nieces and nephews.
Billy worked for Grand Traverse County for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, all things guns and gunsmithing, as well as motorsports at Merritt Raceway in northern Michigan.
He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Due to coronavirus restrictions, his memorial service will be held jointly, with that of his mother, Marilyn Porter Hewitt, in the spring/summer of 2021.
