Grandpa Hoffman was one of the most selfless people that I have ever had the pleasure to be around. Everything that he did seemed to be for his family or for others.
I will never forget his V-Neck white tees, his not so secret stash of candy in his trunk, him giving all of his grandchildren lifesaver boxes for all occasions, how particular he was when it came to how his lawn was to be cared for, his ability to talk about Detroit sports for hours at a time, his love for Thrifty Acres, how he was at every home hockey game I ever played in, his signature MOOOOOING sound, how he called a wallet a billfold and his dedication to his church and my Grandma.
You will be missed, rest in peace.
Love,
Andrew
