William Paul Hulka's Obituary
Mr. William P. Hulka, age 84, passed away Tuesday morning, January 24, 2017 in Muskegon. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan on September 16, 1932 to Paul and Anna (Melicharek) Hulka. Bill had worked as a tool and die maker at Lyons Machine and Tool for over 40 years before retiring in 1991. He was an electronics expert and enjoyed tearing apart and fixing any project. He also enjoyed camping, gardening, and was a fanatic about keeping his yard immaculate. On June 5, 1954, Bill married the former Gloria A. Carlson in Muskegon and she survives him along with four children, Michael P. (Vicky) Hulka, Robert A. Hulka, Daniel E. (Evelyn) Hulka and Sally J. Hulka; three grandchildren, Jill (Clifford) Taylor, Sara (Robert) Proctor and Alesha Hulka; one step-grandson, Heath (Crystal) Flanery; one great-grandson on the way, Finn William Taylor and one step-great-grandson, Liam Flanery. He was preceded in death by his parents and infant sister, Virginia A. Hulka. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Friday, January 27, 2017 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100. VISITATION will be one hour prior to his service. Burial will be in Mona View Cemetery. MEMORIALS may be directed to Harbor Hospice Foundation.
